My client is looking for the following Sales Advisor:
Location: Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire
Principle Role:
The position involves contacting prospective customers by telephone/email/letter correspondence to generate interest in the training and services of the company and to book appointments for our Regional Teams to follow up and sign up identified learners. The role will involve the inputting, updating and ongoing maintenance of data on the in house CRM system (Microsoft), dealing with customer service enquiries, following up prospects and converting sign ups in line with LSC profiles.
Main Purpose
To be part of an effective marketing and recruitment team which consistently works towards achieving required results of the company on a national basis.
Customers
External: All partners, clients, customers and potential clients
Internal: The Board, Senior Managers, operational and non operational staff
Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
" To represent the company in a professional manner at all times both on the phone and when required to attend meetings with our clients.
" To be able to attend meetings when requested. Smart dress will be required when attending meetings
" Continually strive to achieve set targets in line with LSC profiles (minimum number of learners required per LSC contract)
" To make on average 60 QUALITY calls per day and/or evidence physical significant time on phone (approximately 3 hours required as minimum)
" To manage effectively the combination of scheduled call backs (on average no more than 25 per day where possible) and new initial calls to be made in order to open and develop business opportunities
" To always endeavor to make contact with the correct Decision Maker and update the CRM accordingly
" Ensure that all our clients are kept up to date with all information they have requested, of new products and services and are spoken with on a regular basis as agreed within the campaign
" To complete all call backs in the designated schedule as agreed with the client where possible
" To complete and maintain the CRM database effectively in line with the Data Protection Act 1998
" To communicate with your colleagues any information relating to your campaign
" To support your team members in a positive, constructive and caring manner
" To update with your Line Manager on a regular basis either by telephone, email or in person to update them on your campaign progress and outcomes and to notify of any potential problems immediately as they occur
" To carry out basic administration duties in line with your role and any other reasonable tasks considered to be relevant and of importance to your department
" The individual will have responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young persons and vulnerable adults they are responsible for, or who will come in contact with.
Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills Required/Desirable
Qualifications/Education
" 5 GCSE's or O level equivalent including English and Maths
" An accredited Business Administration, Customer Service or Sales qualification is desirable
Experience
" Proven experience working in a Business Development, Sales or Customer Service Environment is essential
" Experience dealing with clients and customers both face to face and on the telephone
" Excellent working knowledge using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Skills/Competencies/Personal Qualities
" Appreciation of confidentiality and demonstrate ability to deal with issues in an appropriate and confidential manner
" Excellent inter-personal skills with ability to build relationships over the telephone and convert into customers
" Good level of communication skills - written and oral
" Professional, confident, credible and an enthusiastic team player
" Well organised and able to work on own initiative
" Ability to prioritise own workload and have a flexible disposition
" A good telephone manner and a persuasive nature are essential
" Will have an awareness of Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children including;
a) Motivation to work with children, young people and vulnerable adults
b) Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people
c) Emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours
d) Attitudes to use authority and maintaining discipline

" Must be clean, smart and presentable at all times - there is a dress code required for this post and it is expected that the candidate will be of smart dress at all times.
